I am currently looking for a Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant position. I have 14+ years of experience in the accounting and finance field and am currently working in an accounting-related role.
I have a strong accounting background, with practical experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT/ZATCA compliance, budgeting, reconciliation, and month-end closing.
Regarding my professional education and training, I have completed SOCPA-related training and an Audit Training Program, including experience as an Audit Assistant.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable,
cash, and banking transactions.
• Prepare, review, and verify Journal Vouchers (JVs), ensuring accurate accounting treatment and complete supporting documentation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balances, Cash Flow Statements, and management financial
reports.
• Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable accounting policies.
• Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity for smooth business operations.
• Prepare and process bank transfers, cheque payments, cash disbursements, and related banking transactions.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, confirm balances, and follow up on outstanding receivables and payables.
• Prepare and update payroll records and reconcile salary and payroll-related accounts.
• Control and analyze monthly costs against approved budget allocations, perform variance analysis, and prepare monthly forecasts to
support cost control and management decisions.
• Analyze and forecast operating expenses and monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
• Review accounting systems, ledgers, and financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Review Trial Balance accounts, identify accounting errors and mismatches, and perform corrective entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and monthly reconciliation.
• Conduct stock inventory audits and reconcile physical inventory with accounting and system records.
• Monitor and update inventory costing for individual stock items and ensure accurate stock valuation.
• Prepare and file VAT /WHT returns with ZATCA and ensure timely tax compliance.
• Support year-end closing activities and prepare financial schedules and supporting documents for internal and external auditors.
• Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and authorization.
• Handle banking, treasury, and related administrative financial matters with banks and internal departments.
• Perform financial ratio analysis and evaluate key financial performance indicators to support management decision-making.
• Establish, maintain, and monitor accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure reliable financial
reporting.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial, payroll, banking, customer, supplier, and company information.
• Coordinate with management, procurement, sales, operations, HR, and finance teams to resolve accounting and financial issues and meet
reporting deadlines.
• Review customer receivables and coordinate recovery plans for overdue balances to improve collections and cash flow.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting records, schedules, explanations, and supporting documentation during audit
activities.
• ERP / Odoo, Tally Prime and other accounting systems
