We are hiring for a leading Architecture & Planning practice specializing in residential extension and planning projects in the UK.
1. Planning Architect – Manager
Experience: 5+ years
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications and supporting documentation.
• Review and oversee architectural and technical drawings.
• Manage and mentor junior planning architects and technologists.
• Coordinate with clients, local authorities and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with UK and India-based teams.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and team resources.
• Ensure quality, compliance and best practices across projects.
• Support project delivery through Revit-based workflows.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in architecture/planning, including team management or mentoring.
• Minimum 4 years of strong Revit experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and processes.
• Experience handling UK planning applications from feasibility through submission and decision.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-handling skills.
• Degree in Architecture, Planning or a related field.
• Mandatory: Prior UK work experience in a planning practice.
2. Planning Architect
Experience: Up to 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare planning applications and supporting documentation.
• Produce architectural and technical drawings.
• Prepare presentation packages for client proposals and planning submissions.
• Collaborate with architects, designers and consultants.
• Support projects through Revit-based workflows.
• Communicate with internal teams, local authorities and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to design development while maintaining quality and compliance.
Requirements:
• Up to 3 years of experience in architecture/planning.
• Minimum 2 years of Revit experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Understanding of UK planning policies and processes is an advantage.
• Good design and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Degree in Architecture, Planning or a related field.
• Mandatory: Prior UK work experience in a planning practice.
