Job Purpose:
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Check refrigerant levels and identify refrigerant leaks.
Clean and replace filters, coils, and other components as required.
Troubleshoot compressors, motors, thermostats, control systems, and electrical components.
Ensure AC systems operate efficiently and safely.
Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or required repairs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns when required.
Coordinate with the maintenance team and report technical issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience as an AC/HVAC Technician.
Good knowledge of split, package, central, and other HVAC systems.
Ability to read basic electrical and mechanical diagrams.
Knowledge of refrigerant handling and safety procedures.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
