Large equipment
Their physical size is fixed.
You can only optimize the box slightly.
3. Packaging costs may increase
Suppose that to reduce the DIM weight, you need:
Custom-size boxes
Vacuum bags
Special packaging
Better packing machines
If you spend an extra $3 on packaging but save only $2 on shipping, there is no overall benefit.
Therefore, you need to consider the total cost alongside your calculations.
