Key Requirements
• Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant workshop machining experience.
• Strong experience with conventional/manual machines.
• Experience in turbine, compressor, pump, motor or rotating-equipment workshops is highly preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
• Good understanding of machining tolerances, fits, clearances and surface finish.
• Ability to select appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feeds.
• Experience machining shafts, sleeves, bushes, bearings, couplings, rotors and other rotating-equipment components.
• Knowledge of workshop safety procedures and proper machine maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and meet required machining tolerances.
