Job Summary

The Fitness Trainer Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the fitness training department, ensuring high standards of coaching, operational excellence, member satisfaction, and business performance. The role requires an experienced fitness professional with strong leadership, management, and commercial skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the fitness team, implementing training standards, monitoring performance, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional fitness services across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and oversee the fitness training department and team of trainers.

Develop and implement fitness training standards, procedures, and best practices.

Recruit, evaluate, train, and develop fitness trainers and senior trainers.

Monitor trainer performance, productivity, attendance, and service quality.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development plans.

Develop and implement training programs suitable for different member goals and fitness levels.

Ensure trainers maintain professional standards, safety procedures, and appropriate certifications.

Monitor personal training sales, sessions, client retention, and overall department performance.

Establish and track KPIs for fitness trainers and the department.

Work closely with Operations, HR, Sales, and Management to achieve business objectives.

Identify opportunities to increase personal training revenue and member engagement.

Handle trainer-related operational issues and provide appropriate solutions.

Organize internal workshops, continuing education, and professional development programs.

Ensure consistent service standards across all branches.

Prepare regular reports on team performance, sales, productivity, and operational matters for senior management.

Maintain strong relationships with members and address escalated service concerns when required.

Stay updated on current fitness industry trends, training methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the fitness industry, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.

Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Physical Education, Fitness Management, or a related field is preferred.

Recognized fitness certification such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, REPs, or equivalent.

Proven experience managing and developing fitness trainers.

Strong understanding of personal training operations, sales, and performance management.

Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to analyze performance data and implement improvement strategies.

Strong knowledge of health, safety, and fitness industry standards.

Professional appearance and strong customer-service orientation.

Must currently be residing in Saudi Arabia and available for local hiring.

Valid Saudi residency/work authorization is preferred, where applicable.
