We are seeking a skilled Mason to perform block laying, brickwork, plastering, and concrete finishing for construction and marine projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil and marine concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lay concrete blocks, bricks, and stone in accordance with project drawings and specifications
Mix mortar, concrete, and grout to required consistencies
Perform plastering, rendering, and screeding on walls, columns, and slabs
Construct and repair marine concrete structures including quay walls, jetties, and intake towers
Install and align masonry units to required levels, plumb lines, and dimensions
Cut, shape, and dress materials as required
Assist in formwork preparation and concrete pouring operations
Maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe condition
Follow all safety protocols including use of PPE, working at height, and manual handling procedures
Participate in toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
Coordinate with carpenters, steel fixers, and other trades for integrated construction
Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
Maintain site cleanliness and organize materials after use
