We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for our project involving RMU, MV panel, switchgear installation, erection, and MV cable works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with the Electrical Design Team to review, complete, and finalize electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, and technical documents.
* Coordinate with the Consultant/Client for design submissions, technical clarifications, revisions, and obtaining necessary approvals.
* Ensure approved drawings and designs are properly implemented and executed at site.
* Supervise erection and installation of RMU, MV panels, switchgear, and associated electrical equipment.
* Supervise and coordinate MV cable laying, termination, jointing, testing, and commissioning.
* Review site conditions and identify technical issues or design requirements before execution.
* Coordinate with the Consultant for site inspections, testing, and approval of completed works.
* Ensure all installation and erection works are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
* Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines for smooth execution and progress.
* Prepare and follow up on IRs, method statements, ITPs, technical submissions, and other project documents.
* Monitor the quality and progress of electrical works and resolve site technical issues.
* Maintain proper documentation and support the project team through testing, commissioning, and completion.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 7–10 years of relevant experience in electrical projects.
* Strong experience in RMU, MV panels, switchgear, and MV cable works.
* Experience in MV panel installation and erection.
* Experience in MV cable termination, jointing, testing, and commissioning.
* Good knowledge of electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, and site execution.
* Experience coordinating with Consultants/Clients for design and technical approvals.
* Good communication, coordination, and site supervision skills.
