Gulfaar Group is looking for an experienced Material Coordinator for a major Master Gas System (MGS) EPC Project in Saudi Arabia.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and control the complete material management process from procurement through delivery to site.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Warehouse, Logistics, QA/QC and Project Controls teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Monitor Material Requisitions (MR), Purchase Orders (PO), Material Receiving Reports (MRR), Material Issue Vouchers (MIV) and other material documentation.
Track material procurement, manufacturing, inspection, delivery and site receipt against the project schedule.
Maintain and regularly update Material Status Reports (MSR) and material tracking systems.
Follow up with vendors, suppliers, expeditors and logistics teams regarding material delivery schedules.
Coordinate with the warehouse/store team for receiving, inspection, identification, storage and preservation of materials.
Monitor material shortages, surplus, damages and discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
Ensure materials are available in line with construction priorities and look-ahead schedules.
Coordinate material requirements for piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil and other EPC disciplines.
Support the preparation of material forecasts and procurement schedules.
Review material documentation including MTCs, inspection certificates, delivery notes, packing lists and related quality documents.
Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure required material certificates and inspection documentation are available before material release.
Prepare regular material progress reports and highlight critical/long-lead materials, delays and potential shortages.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, EPC procedures and Saudi Aramco requirements, where applicable.

🎯 Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management or a related discipline.
5–10 years of relevant experience in Material Coordination / Material Control within Oil & Gas / EPC / Pipeline projects.
Candidates with previous experience working with EPC contractors are strongly preferred.
Experience in Saudi Aramco / MGS / major gas pipeline projects will be highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of EPC material procurement, expediting, logistics, warehouse and site material coordination.
Good knowledge of piping and mechanical materials, fittings, valves, structural materials, E&I materials and associated project documentation.
Experience with Material Tracking Systems / ERP / SAP is preferred.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, Vendors, Warehouse, Construction and QA/QC teams.
Strong reporting, coordination and follow-up skills.
Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia and able to join at short notice will be preferred.
