Major Tauseef Ahmad Bhatti Shaheed

Major Tauseef Ahmad Bhatti Shaheed was a Pakistan Army officer who embraced martyrdom during a counterterrorism operation in Nosham, Barkhan district, Balochistan, on May 13, 2026. He was 31 years old and belonged to Pakpattan district, Punjab. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) account reported by Pakistani state media, Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Balochistan personnel were conducting a sanitisation operation when they engaged a group of militants. Seven militants were reported killed, while Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti and four other security personnel lost their lives during the intense exchange of fire. His martyrdom was subsequently acknowledged by Pakistan's president and prime minister, who paid tribute to him and the other soldiers.
