Automation Technician

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Automation Technician with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a production and manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery, control systems, and PLC-driven production lines to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on automated production equipment, robotics, conveyor systems, sensors, and motor drives.Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system faults using schematics, multimeters, and diagnostic software.PLC & Control Systems: Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform basic programming adjustments on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and SCADA systems.Calibration & Testing: Calibrate sensors, switches, actuators, and transducers to ensure accurate production measurements and safety standard compliance.System Upgrades: Assist in installing, testing, and commissioning new automated machinery or control system upgrades.Safety & Quality Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and quality assurance standards.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, spare parts inventory, and system modifications.Key Requirements & QualificationsExperience: 2 to 3 years of direct experience as an Automation Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Control Systems Technician in a manufacturing or production plant.Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.Experience with major PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or Mitsubishi).Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drive systems.Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under production deadlines.Working Conditions & BenefitsBenefit / TermDetailsDuty Hours10 Hours per dayAccommodationCompany-provided accommodationFoodCompany-provided meals or food allowanceSponsorshipKafala transfer provided
