Polyoxymethylene prices in Delhi held at Rs 250.00/kg this week, matching the previous weekly assessment and signalling a pause after recent gains. Indian POM prices had increased by Rs 5.00/kg over the preceding month from Rs 245.00/kg, leaving the current assessment at the highest level reported during the past year. The short-term picture is therefore one of stability at an elevated level rather than renewed weekly movement. Recent trading has also been characterised by limited volatility, with no significant week-on-week change recorded in the latest assessment.
The longer comparisons show that the market remains above several earlier reference points. The three-month assessment stood at Rs 239.00/kg, putting the current price Rs 11.00/kg higher, while the six-month reference of Rs 238.00/kg leaves a Rs 12.00/kg increase. POM prices in India also show a much wider annual difference, with the latest Rs 250.00/kg level standing Rs 87.00/kg above the Rs 163.00/kg assessment recorded a year earlier. Indian POM prices are therefore holding at the upper end of the supplied historical range after a substantial year-on-year rise.
The lower end of recent trading is reported close to Rs 160.00/kg, providing another useful historical marker for procurement teams comparing present quotations with previous market levels. The latest data show stability in the immediate period alongside positive movements across the month, three-month, six-month and year-on-year comparisons.
