Polyurethane prices in Delhi remained unchanged at Rs 245.00/kg this week and were also stable compared with the assessment two weeks earlier. Indian PU prices have, however, declined by Rs 3.00/kg over the past month from Rs 248.00/kg. The latest level remains above the Rs 238.00/kg three-month reference, leaving the short-term market stable after a modest monthly retreat. Support is reported around Rs 240.00/kg, while resistance is identified near Rs 248.00/kg.
The six-month comparison shows that the current assessment is Rs 10.00/kg below the earlier Rs 255.00/kg level. PU prices in India remain substantially higher than a year ago, with the latest Rs 245.00/kg assessment standing Rs 47.00/kg above the Rs 198.00/kg annual reference. Indian PU prices are also positioned within a broad twelve-month range extending from Rs 183.00/kg at the low to Rs 287.00/kg at the high.
For procurement teams, the Rs 240.00-248.00/kg support-resistance area provides a useful immediate framework for evaluating quotations. The current assessment is Rs 5.00/kg above support and Rs 3.00/kg below resistance. Longer comparisons present a mixed structure, with prices lower than six months ago but materially higher year on year. The annual high-low span further provides context for the broader volatility recorded during the past twelve months.
