Department:Facility Management / Operations & Maintenance
Reporting To: Facility Supervisor / Facility Engineer
Job Purpose
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the STP/WTP, ensuring continuous operation, proper treatment processes, equipment monitoring and timely reporting of abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor STP/WTP equipment, pumps, blowers, tanks and treatment systems.
Monitor water levels, flow, pressure and treatment parameters.
Check chemical dosing and maintain proper dosing levels.
Inspect pumps, valves, blowers, filters and pipelines.
Identify leakage, abnormal noise, vibration and equipment malfunction.
Maintain plant housekeeping and cleanliness.
Record daily operating readings and equipment status.
Perform routine operational checks as per approved SOPs/checklists.
Report breakdowns, defects and abnormal conditions immediately.
Assist maintenance technicians during preventive and corrective maintenance.
Follow HSE procedures, PPE requirements and chemical-handling practices.
Maintain daily logbooks and proper shift handover records.
Support STP/WTP inspection, snagging and handover activities.
