How the scam works:
He sounds completely legitimate—he knows all insurance classes, shares official coverage network lists, and sends real policy details straight from the insurance companies.
He offers discounted rates that are significantly cheaper than official online quotes to tempt you into buying immediately.
After you confirm and send your Iqama copy, he claims your policy is initiated, but says you must pay immediately because "the offer expires today."
The Trap: When it comes to payment, he claims the official company SADAD system is down and asks you to transfer the money directly to a personal STC Bank or Urpay account instead.
Once you transfer the funds, he tells you the policy will take 24 to 48 hours to process. Shortly after, he vanishes and blocks your calls.
Red Flag: Real insurance companies will NEVER ask you to transfer funds to a personal STC Bank or Urpay account. Always pay through official SADAD codes or direct payment portals on the company website.
