Position: Procurement Engineer – MEP
🎓 Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
💼 Experience: Minimum 5 years in MEP Procurement
💰 Salary: SAR 6,000 – 8,000/month
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP procurement.
* Experience in construction, contracting, or civil fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Independently manage procurement of MEP materials, equipment, services, and
subcontractors.
* Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, technical capability, and
delivery performance.
* Obtain and evaluate quotations and prepare detailed comparative statements.
* Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit facilities, warranties, and delivery schedules.
* Coordinate with Project Managers, MEP Engineers, Planning, Estimation, and Site
Teams.
* Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor orders through final delivery.
* Develop new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
* Ensure procured materials comply with project specifications and approved
requirements.
* Coordinate with warehouse and site teams regarding material delivery and inspection.
* Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Support value engineering and alternative material sourcing.
* Maintain complete procurement records and supplier databases.
* Prepare procurement status reports for management.
Required MEP Procurement Experience:
* HVAC
* Plumbing
* Fire Fighting / Fire Protection
* Electrical
* ELV
* MEP Equipment and Accessories
* MEP Subcontractors and Specialized Services
Additional Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of the Saudi/GCC supplier market.
* Proven negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
* Strong knowledge of MEP materials, manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* ERP/procurement system experience.
* Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
* Immediate joiners are preferred.
Preferred Project Experience: Commercial Buildings, Retail, Hypermarkets, Supermarkets,
Hospitals, shopping malls, Offices, and Civil Fit-Out projects.
