Job Title: Senior Electrician
The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, outlets, and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Inspect electrical systems for hazards, malfunctions, and compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Install and maintain electrical panels, circuit breakers, and transformers.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other construction or maintenance staff on projects.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role.
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and meters.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant certification or license (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician license) required.
