We are looking for an experienced Project Planning Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling construction project activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Prepare baseline programs, work schedules, and project timelines.
Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
Identify delays, critical activities, and potential schedule risks.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Track manpower, materials, equipment, and site activities against the approved schedule.
Assist in preparing recovery and mitigation plans for project delays.
Review subcontractor schedules and monitor their progress.
Prepare progress updates, look-ahead schedules, and other planning documents.
Maintain proper project records and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction planning and scheduling.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Good knowledge of project controls, progress monitoring, and reporting.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
GCC experience is preferred.
Locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner or available on short notice.
