OVERVIEW
This is HP's flagship 13-inch convertible from the Spectre line. Gem-cut CNC
aluminium body with polished chamfered edges and the signature angled rear
corners the Spectre is known for. The screen folds a full 360 degrees into
tablet, tent and stand modes, and it is touch-enabled throughout. This is a
premium consumer machine, not an ex-corporate office laptop, and it looks and
feels like one.

DURATION OF USE
Owned for approximately 5 years. Light personal use only, always carried in a
sleeve, never used on a lap or on a bed. The battery shows 139 charge cycles
over that entire period, which is unusually low for a laptop of this age - most
machines this old are well past 500 cycles. That number is the honest measure of
how lightly it has been used, and I am happy to show you the report.
CONDITION AND VISIBLE DEFECTS
Visible defects: none.
- No scratches, dents, chips or scuffs anywhere on the body or lid
- No wear or shine on the keyboard keys, the palm rest or the trackpad
- Screen is free of scratches, dead pixels and pressure marks
- The 360-degree hinge is tight, with no wobble or looseness in any position
- Touchscreen responds accurately across the whole panel
- No liquid damage, no repairs, no part replacements, never opened
EVERYTHING TESTED AND WORKING
Webcam, speakers, microphone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, keyboard, backlit keys,
trackpad, touchscreen, cooling fan, all ports, and USB-C charging. Every one of
these has been checked and works normally. You are welcome to test all of it
yourself before any money changes hands.
BATTERY
Design capacity 60,768 mWh
Full charge capacity 47,401 mWh
Battery health 78 percent
Charge cycles 139
I am stating this openly rather than leaving you to find out later. At 78 percent
the battery still holds a useful working charge for everyday tasks, and I will
show you the Windows battery report on the screen so you can verify these numbers
yourself. I have deliberately not replaced the battery, because I would rather
price the laptop honestly than charge you for a replacement you may not want.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
- The laptop
- The original HP USB-C charger
- No original box
POINTS TO BE AWARE OF, STATED UP FRONT
- The 8 GB of memory is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded. The
SSD can be replaced or upgraded normally.
- The laptop is out of warranty. It is sold as seen, with no warranty from me.
- The keyboard is US English layout, with no Arabic letters printed on the keys.
- There is no original box, only the laptop and its original charger.
WHY THIS RATHER THAN A CHEAPER USED OFFICE LAPTOP
Windows 10 support ended in October 2025. A large share of the cheap used stock
in this price range is not eligible for Windows 11 at all, which means no further
security updates. This machine is running Windows 11 version 25H2 on a processor
that remains on Microsoft's supported list, so it continues to receive updates
normally.
Beyond that, you are getting a genuine premium convertible: a 13.3-inch
touchscreen that folds into a tablet, a milled aluminium body under 1.3 kg, and
512 GB of storage, which is double what most refurbished machines at this price
carry. The comparable machines at this price are retired business laptops. This
is not one of them.
HOW THE SALE WORKS
- Inspect and test the laptop as thoroughly as you like before paying
- Handover in person, in a public place, during the day
- Cash, or a bank transfer that I can confirm has arrived in my own banking app
- No shipping, and no collection by a third party or driver
Serious enquiries welcome. Happy to answer any question about the machine before
you come to see it.
