We are looking for a skilled Mechanical 3D Designer to transform concepts and engineering requirements into precise, high-performance 3D models and production-ready documentation. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring mechanical systems from concept to physical reality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop complex 3D parametric models, assemblies, and detailed 2D production drawings using 3D CAD software.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to streamline production.
Perform 3D tolerance stack-up analysis, digital mock-ups, and interference/clash checks on complex assemblies.
Maintain organized 3D CAD libraries, component file structures, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Create photorealistic 3D renderings and visual layouts for design reviews and product documentation.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in 3D mechanical modeling, surfacing, and assembly design.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in 3D CAD platforms (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or CATIA).
Technical Standards: Solid foundation in GD&T (ASME Y14.5), sheet metal design, machined components, or molded parts.
Core Competencies: Strong spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
