We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator & Quotation Specialist to join our furniture manufacturing factory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing drawings, and generating competitive quotations for custom furniture and joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze client inquiries, shop drawings, and design specifications to prepare accurate quotations.
Proficiency AutoCAD to review and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and furniture layouts.
Perform material take-offs and calculate raw material requirements (wood, board, hardware, upholstery, finishes).
Prepare detailed cost estimation sheets and quotations using Microsoft Excel.
Coordinate with the production team and suppliers to verify material pricing and fabrication feasibility.
Maintain organized records of sent quotations, bill of quantities (BOQ), and project estimates.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proficiency knowledge of AutoCAD (reading layouts, taking measurements, checking dimensions).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, cost calculations).
Essential knowledge of basic material calculation and estimation for furniture/woodworking.
Prior experience working in a furniture factory, joinery, or interior fit-out company is a strong plus.
Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Transferable Iqama preferred (for candidates inside KSA).
