China Railway 18 Bureau is looking for an experienced Lifting Coordinator to join our construction project team.

👍Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise all lifting and rigging activities on the construction site.
Plan and coordinate lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and project procedures.
Coordinate with Crane Operators, Riggers, Banksmen, Site Engineers, HSE, and Construction teams.
Ensure cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are suitable and available for planned lifting operations.
Verify that lifting equipment, slings, shackles, spreader beams, hooks, and other accessories have valid inspection/certification.
Ensure lifting operations are carried out by qualified and authorized personnel.
Coordinate daily lifting activities and prioritize lifting requirements based on construction schedules.
Review lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and lifting studies before operations.
Ensure appropriate lifting zones, exclusion zones, barriers, and access routes are established.
Monitor site conditions, including ground stability, weather, visibility, and overhead obstructions.
Coordinate lifting activities involving heavy and oversized materials, structural elements, MEP equipment, and construction machinery.
Ensure proper communication between crane operators, riggers, and banksmen during lifting operations.
Stop any lifting activity that is unsafe or does not comply with approved procedures.
Maintain records of lifting activities, equipment inspections, permits, and certifications.
Coordinate with HSE and Construction departments to investigate and report lifting-related incidents or near misses.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and applicable HSE/lifting standards.
👍Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Lifting Operations, or a related field preferred.
Relevant experience as a Lifting Coordinator / Lifting Supervisor / Lifting Engineer in major construction projects.
Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging, lifting plans, and lifting accessories.
Experience with large-scale/high-rise construction projects is highly preferred.
Knowledge of lifting safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple lifting activities.
Relevant lifting/rigging certifications will be an advantage.
