China Railway 18 Bureau is looking for an experienced Interface & Infrastructure Coordinator to join our construction project team.
👍Position: Interface & Infrastructure Coordinator
👍Key Responsibilities
Coordinate interfaces between infrastructure works, buildings, utilities, MEP, civil, architectural, and external works.
Manage coordination between different contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project departments.
Identify, track, and resolve technical and construction interface issues affecting project progress.
Coordinate infrastructure activities including roads, drainage, sewerage, water supply, utilities, electrical networks, and external works.
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and design information to identify potential interface conflicts.
Maintain an Interface Register and monitor all interface-related actions until closure.
Coordinate utility routes, levels, tie-in points, crossings, and connections with relevant disciplines.
Ensure infrastructure works are properly coordinated with the building construction sequence.
Organize and attend interface coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action trackers.
Coordinate with Planning and Construction teams to ensure interface activities are aligned with the approved project schedule.
Follow up on RFIs, technical queries, approvals, and design changes related to infrastructure interfaces.
Coordinate with authorities and utility providers where required for infrastructure connections and approvals.
Monitor site progress and identify interface constraints that may cause delays.
Support the preparation of method statements, work packages, and interface
👍Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Relevant experience in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in coordinating interfaces between building and infrastructure works.
Good understanding of roads, utilities, drainage, water supply, sewerage, and external works.
Experience with high-rise buildings, hotels, mixed-use developments, or major infrastructure projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and coordination procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and preferably Primavera P6 or other project planning software.
Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and disciplines in a fast-paced construction environment.
