• CPT Report Preparation: Serve as the primary engineer responsible for interpreting, processing, and preparing detailed Cone Penetration Test (CPT) reports—specifically evaluating pre- and post-treatment CPT profiles to quantify ground improvement efficacy.
• Ground Improvement Verification: Review and synthesize field production metrics—such as compaction energy footprints, blow counts, drop heights, grid passes, and crater depths—to mathematically verify execution matches design parameters.
• Geotechnical Data Synthesis: Interpret and integrate supporting geotechnical testing data (including SPT, PMT, and Zone Load Tests) with CPT profiles to certify that target relative densities and depth constraints are met.
• Design & Settlement Compliance: Formally analyze and document that treated soil strata achieve specified allowable bearing capacities and meet strict long-term settlement criteria.
• Quality Assurance & Closure: Collaborate with site inspection teams to resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), log Requests for Information (RFIs), and compile final as-built stratigraphy profiles for the asset handover.
Education & Experience Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is highly advantageous.
• Experience: 5 to 9+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering and heavy earthworks, with a specialized focus on ground improvement projects involving RIC and Dynamic Compaction.
• Technical Software & Mastery: Proven expertise in interpreting raw CPT/CPTu logs using industry-standard software (e.g., GeoLogismiki CPTeIT, CliquIT, or gINT) to generate comparative engineering assessments.
• Portfolio Requirement: Candidates must provide verified examples of RIC handover reports they have personally prepared, compiled, and brought to successful client closure in past projects.
