Position: PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Specialist
Location: Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose
The PDI Specialist is responsible for inspecting, testing, and preparing vehicles, electric golf carts, and related products before delivery to customers. The role ensures that every unit meets the company’s quality, safety, functionality, and presentation standards before it is released for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on vehicles, electric golf carts, and other units before delivery.
Inspect the exterior, interior, electrical systems, mechanical components, battery, lights, tires, brakes, steering, and other key components.
Perform functional and operational tests to ensure the unit is working properly.
Identify defects, damage, missing parts, or technical issues before delivery.
Record all inspection results accurately using the company’s inspection checklist or system.
Coordinate with the Technicians, Workshop, Warehouse, and Operations teams to resolve identified issues.
Re-inspect units after repairs or corrections to confirm that all issues have been properly resolved.
Ensure the unit is clean, properly assembled, and ready for customer delivery.
Verify accessories, tools, spare parts, chargers, keys, manuals, and other required items are complete.
Ensure the unit complies with company specifications and customer requirements.
Report major or repeated defects to the PDI Supervisor or Quality/Operations Manager.
Maintain proper records of inspections, repairs, and final approvals.
Support the preparation of units for customer handover and delivery.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Perform other duties related to vehicle inspection and delivery preparation as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or technical certification in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in vehicle inspection, PDI, automotive service, quality control, workshop, or a related position.
Experience with electric vehicles, golf carts, automotive vehicles, or similar equipment is an advantage.
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to use basic diagnostic and testing equipment.
Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and inspection checklists.
Basic computer skills for preparing inspection reports and records.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.
