We're looking for an Electrical BIM Coordinator for the electrical BIM deliverables, from model development through to final client approval.
Responsibilities:
- As-Built Modeling
Build and maintain Electrical BIM models for the project's facilities at a high level of detail (LOD 500)
Apply approved site markup drawings to the model; where none exist, collect and verify site changes directly with the construction team
Validate models against survey/scan data and project specifications, identifying and resolving clashes
- Site Coordination & Data Collection
Proactively follow up with stakeholders to gather the information you need — chasing inputs is part of the role
Confirm what's actually built on site, including field visits for photos, measurements, and as-built sketches
Flag any blockers to data collection to project management right away
- Drawing Production
Produce accurate as-built drawings from the approved BIM models
Include full dimensions, annotations, routing, and installation detail
Deliver work to the client's standards and industry measurement rules for accurate quantity take-offs
- Model Data & Tagging
Load all required parameters and asset data into the BIM objects per the project's asset register
Tag and code every element per the project's naming standards
- Comment & Quality Closeout
Own the resolution of every comment raised by the client or quality reviewers
Resubmit corrected work quickly and accurately until approved
- Technical Input & Coordination
Review models and drawings critically, and propose fixes for routing or coordination conflicts
Work directly with the consultant/client to resolve engineering issues
Represent the team in technical and progress meetings
- Reporting
Submit regular progress updates backed by your working model files
What we're looking for: Electrical Engineering degree, 4+ years in MEP BIM modeling/coordination, hands-on with BIM authoring and coordination software, comfortable coordinating directly with site teams and clients.
