China Railway 18 Bureau is looking for an experienced Senior Post-Tension Engineer to join our construction team.
🔹 Position
Senior Post-Tension Engineer
🔹 Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience in Post-Tensioning / Prestressed Concrete works.
Must have strong experience in high-rise building projects and 4/5-star hotels.
Minimum 80% of total professional experience must be in high-rise building projects.
Candidates without high-rise building and 4/5-star hotel experience will not be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
Strong knowledge of post-tensioning systems, drawings, specifications, and site execution.
Experience coordinating with structural, civil, MEP, QA/QC, consultants, and subcontractors.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Review and coordinate post-tensioning designs, shop drawings, tendon layouts, and calculations.
Supervise PT tendon installation, anchorage, stressing, and grouting activities.
Monitor stressing operations, elongation measurements, and stressing records.
Inspect PT materials including steel strands, anchors, ducts, and related components.
Ensure PT works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and QA/QC requirements.
Coordinate PT works with reinforcement, MEP services, embedded items, and other construction activities.
Identify and resolve site issues related to post-tensioning works.
Review subcontractor method statements, inspection requests, test reports, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with consultants and project teams to ensure safe and timely execution of PT works.
⚠️ IMPORTANT
Candidates must have at least 80% high-rise building experience from their total experience. Candidates who do not meet this requirement should NOT submit their CV.
