UJVN 120 MW Project Opens Revised Hydro EPC Tenders

Hydro EPC tenders offer contractors a 120 MW electro-mechanical EPC opportunity at UJVN Limited’s Sirkari Bhyol Rupsiabagar hydroelectric project in Uttarakhand. The package covers three 40 MW vertical-shaft Francis units and associated generators, transformers, GIS, switchgear, controls, SCADA, auxiliaries, cranes, HVAC, fire protection and cabling. Hydro EPC tenders for this package carry a revised estimated cost of Rs 243.05 crore excluding taxes and an EMD of Rs 5.7385 crore. The completion period is 48 months and bid validity is 270 days. Hydro EPC tenders also place route assessment, mountain transport, storage, camps, utilities and material custody with the contractor. Qualification requirements were increased after the estimate revision, while selected technical conditions were later widened. The generator experience threshold is now 35 MVA and alternative IEC 60041 efficiency methods may be approved.
