POWERGRID Opens Power Grid Projects Tie-up For GIS And AIS Extensions

POWERGRID’s Power Grid projects opportunity covers a pre-bid tie-up for 765 kV GIS extension package SS 185T under the Northern Region compensation project. The work includes GIS extensions at Orai and Patran and AIS extensions at Agra, with completion scheduled within 21 months. Power Grid projects require engineering, manufacture, testing, transportation, storage, erection and commissioning across multiple voltage classes and operating substations. The successful package bidder must enter an exclusive MOU, while final EPC award depends on POWERGRID winning the upstream TBCB process. Power Grid projects therefore combine conditional award exposure with exclusivity obligations.
