Role Summary
The Electrical Technician will support electrical dismantling, reconnection, testing, and commissioning of can-making plant machinery during relocation. The role demands strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, control panels, PLC-based machines, sensors, and power distribution for high-speed production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
•
Perform safe dismantling and reconnection of electrical wiring, control panels, junction boxes, and machine power circuits.
•
Assist in cable routing, termination, labeling, and panel re-installation as per project drawings.
•
Conduct continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and functional testing of electrical systems.
•
Support PLC I/O verification, sensor alignment, encoder setup, and actuator testing.
•
Troubleshoot electrical faults during machine start-up and commissioning.
•
Ensure proper connection of motors, VFDs, servo drives, heaters, solenoids, and safety interlocks.
•
Verify grounding, earthing, and compliance with electrical safety standards.
•
Coordinate with mechanical teams for synchronized installation and commissioning.
•
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work, test results, and daily progress.
Required Skills & Experience
•
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in industrial electrical maintenance or machine installation.
•
Experience with can-making machinery, packaging lines, or high-speed automated equipment is an advantage.
•
Strong knowledge of industrial wiring, control circuits, sensors, relays, PLC interfaces, and VFD systems.
•
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
•
Skilled in using multimeters, megger testers, continuity testers, and basic electrical tools.
•
Strong safety awareness and adherence to electrical standards
