We're looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across residential and light commercial properties. You'll be the person customers trust when their system quits in July or January — so diagnostic skill, clean workmanship, and clear communication matter as much as technical knowledge.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment (split systems, packaged units, heat pumps, RTUs, mini-splits).
Perform preventive maintenance: coil cleaning, filter changes, refrigerant checks, belt and bearing replacement, thermostat calibration.
Test systems using gauges, multimeters, manometers, combustion analyzers, and leak detectors; interpret readings and document findings.
Install and commission new equipment, including ductwork connections, line sets, condensate drainage, and electrical hookups.
Locate and repair refrigerant leaks; recover, recycle, and charge refrigerant per EPA regulations.
Read blueprints, schematics, and load calculations; verify proper airflow, static pressure, and superheat/subcooling.
Explain findings and repair options to customers in plain language; write accurate, itemized service reports.
Maintain truck stock, tools, and required paperwork; comply with OSHA, EPA 608, and local code requirements.
What We're Looking For
Required
High school diploma or GED; completion of an HVAC/R technical program or equivalent field experience.
2+ years hands-on HVAC service/repair experience.
EPA Section 608 certification (Universal preferred).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and rooftops.
Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
