We are looking for an experienced Project Planning Engineer to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling project activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work programs.
Monitor project progress against planned schedules and milestones.
Coordinate with site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and project management.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Identify delays, risks, and potential schedule issues and recommend corrective actions.
Update schedules based on actual site progress and approved changes.
Assist in resource planning and project forecasting.
Track project milestones, variations, and extensions of time.
Prepare progress updates and reports for management.
Ensure construction activities are properly coordinated and aligned with project requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience as a Planning Engineer in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling and planning.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Good knowledge of construction activities, project controls, and progress monitoring.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
GCC/Bahrain construction experience is preferred.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
