We are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, quantities, contracts, and commercial activities from project commencement through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures.
Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and payment applications.
Handle measurements, interim valuations, and final accounts.
Monitor material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Review construction drawings and specifications for accurate quantity measurement.
Prepare cost reports and maintain proper commercial documentation.
Assist with contract administration and commercial negotiations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Previous experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement, costing, variations, and contracts.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
GCC/Bahrain construction experience is preferred.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
