(Job Role: Complete Mechanical Design and detailed engineering)
Detail Core / Job – Responsibilities:
1) Participation in & attendance at project Kick-off meetings.
2) Co-ordination with all interdisciplinary departments (Mechanical, Piping, Static,
Process, Electrical, Structural & Civil) & Client to ensure the project delivery in a
confirmed delivery date in a smooth manner.
3) Preparation of Mechanical Datasheet, Technical Specification, Requisitions for
Quotation (RFQ), Review of vendor offers, TBE’s for Oil & Gas FEED projects.
4) Preparation of P&IDs.
5) Pump head loss calculation.
6) Piping design (Process piping-ASME B 31.3), Selection and sizing of pipes, &
valves.
7) Prepare a valve schedule.
8) Preparation of datasheets for mechanical Equipments (Pumps (Reciprocating
API675, Centrifugal pumps), Blowers, Compressors Valves, Agitators, Pulsation
dampeners, Suction strainers) based on client requirements.
9) Co-ordination with Purchase department, in Purchase Requisition creation and
release for Mechanical Equipments (Pumps, Blowers, Compressors, Pulsation
dampeners, Suction strainers, Valves, Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Gaskets &
Fasteners) in SAP.
10) Coordinating with the Purchase department in the preparation of technical
offers for the above items.
11) Co-ordination with Vendor & Client, in evaluating the vendor documents, and
prepare the documents for client submission based on client requirements.
12) Co-ordination with Design department in preparation & checking of Isometric
piping Drawings, Piping layout drawings & Piping bill of material preparation.
13) Co-ordination with Design department in preparation & checking of GA &
Fabrication drawings for vessels & storage tanks.
14) In the Pre-bid engineering stage entire Proposal Engineering work & costing
for the CIS skids & LSTK projects to be done based on different client
requirements.
15) Arrange a 3D Model review with Design & other interdisciplinary
departments.
16) Knowledge in Design of thin-walled pressure vessels (IS 2825 & ASME Sec
VIII Div.1) and storage tanks (IS 803 & API 650).
