We are looking for a Site Engineer (Bahraini National) to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, monitoring project progress, managing project documentation, and ensuring that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project team members.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Review drawings and identify technical issues or discrepancies.
Maintain and control project documents, including drawings, specifications, submittals, inspection requests, approvals, and site records.
Ensure proper filing, tracking, distribution, and updating of project documents and revisions.
Maintain document registers and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available on site.
Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
Monitor materials, manpower, and equipment required for site activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
Coordinate with the office team regarding project requirements, documentation, and updates.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
Bahraini National.
Previous site/construction experience is preferred.
Experience in document control and construction project documentation is an advantage.
Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and site procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
CRPEP registration/license is an advantage.
Valid Bahrain driving license is an advantage.
