Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with strong expertise in structural design, infrastructure projects, shop drawing review, temporary works, and formwork design. The candidate should be proficient in structural engineering software and familiar with relevant Saudi and international design codes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for infrastructure and civil/structural projects.
Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
Use structural design software such as ROBOT, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
Review and approve shop drawings, structural details, and technical submittals.
Review structural designs for temporary works, formwork, shoring, scaffolding, and supporting systems.
Perform or review formwork and temporary structure design calculations.
Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, architectural, MEP, and construction teams.
Review geotechnical reports, soil investigation results, foundation recommendations, and related technical documents.
Check geotechnical calculations and reports for compliance with project requirements.
Provide technical support during construction and resolve structural design and site-related issues.
Ensure structural designs comply with approved project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
Review contractor and subcontractor submissions and provide technical comments when required.
Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Ensure proper coordination between design, shop drawings, construction, and site activities.
Support value engineering and propose practical structural solutions where required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
Strong experience in structural design and infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in temporary works and formwork design.
Strong experience reviewing shop drawings and structural calculations.
Good knowledge of geotechnical engineering reports and foundation-related requirements.
Proficiency in ROBOT, SAP/SAP2000, AutoCAD, and other relevant structural software.
Good knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including:
SHC – Saudi Highway Code
SBC – Saudi Building Code
AASHTO
ACI
Other relevant Saudi and international standards.
Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
Experience working with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Saudi/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in bridges, roads, tunnels, precast structures, temporary works, formwork, foundations, and major infrastructure projects will be preferred.

This is a supplier-based position with a competitive salary package.
Iqama transfer is not available. Contract will be through Ajeer.
