We are looking for an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate site surveys, setting out construction works, checking levels and coordinates, and ensuring construction activities are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct land and construction surveys for villas, buildings, and other construction projects.
Perform setting out, leveling, alignment, and positioning of structures and building elements.
Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, levels, grid lines, and reference points.
Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and survey drawings.
Carry out measurements and prepare accurate site survey data and reports.
Monitor construction works to ensure they are positioned and executed according to approved drawings.
Check dimensions, elevations, levels, and alignment of foundations, columns, walls, slabs, roads, and other structures.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and subcontractors regarding survey requirements.
Identify and report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
Maintain proper records of survey measurements, calculations, and site activities.
Assist in quantity measurements and preparation of as-built survey information.
Ensure surveying activities comply with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Construction Surveyor / Land Surveyor in building or construction projects.
Experience with villas, residential buildings, commercial buildings, or high-rise projects is an advantage.
Good knowledge of construction surveying, setting out, leveling, and measurements.
Ability to read architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
Proficiency in using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying equipment.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey-related software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience in Bahrain is preferred.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
