We are looking for an experienced Site Surveyor – Construction to join our construction team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate site surveys, setting out works, checking levels and coordinates, and supporting the project team in the execution of construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct land and construction surveys at project sites.
Perform setting out for foundations, columns, walls, roads, levels, and other structural works.
Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and reference points.
Carry out measurements and prepare accurate site survey records.
Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings.
Use surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and related equipment.
Check construction works against approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor dimensions, elevations, alignments, and levels during construction.
Prepare survey reports, measurements, and as-built information.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Foremen, and subcontractors.
Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings.
Maintain proper records of survey data and site measurements.
Ensure surveying activities are carried out accurately and in accordance with project requirements and safety procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Site Surveyor / Land Surveyor / Construction Surveyor in building or civil construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction setting-out procedures and surveying techniques.
Hands-on experience with Total Station and Auto Level.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Good knowledge of coordinates, levels, measurements, and site layouts.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Immediate joiner preferred.
Candidates must be locally available in Bahrain.
Candidates with Bahrain construction experience will be preferred.
