Piping Stress Engineer:
Onshore
• Identifying the stress critical lines from the P&ID and line list and preparing stress systems.
• Modeling and analysis of various equipment like heat exchanger, column, pump and fin fan cooler and its piping.
• Trunnion calculations, Nozzle load evaluation, Flange leakage calculation as per NC 3658.3 method & pressure equivalent method.
• Expansion loop calculation.
• Performed support selection for various critical and non-critical piping system.
• Preparation of load cases as per design basis.
• Stress markups.
• Preparation of stress report , stress isometric, piping loads for civil.
• coordination with Layout team to expedite modeling of critical lines.
• Wellhead piping and skid piping stress analysis.
Offshore
• Performed Stress analysis for various cases like Design, blast, transit, wind and seismic for I-tube and Hard pipe by applying hog, sag and Structural displacement.
• Performed flange leakage analysis (NC method, API flange), slug checks, trunnion checks, nozzle load evaluations, fatigue assessments, and provide support load to civil.
• Evaluate reinforcement requirements at branch connections.
Facility Engineer (Piping Engineer):
• Engineering assistance to operation, maintenance and construction department for smooth operation of plant.
• Engineering support during shut down and for In-house project.
• Performed field troubleshooting upon request.
• Inhouse studies Like study on low-temperature embrittlement
• Review engineering package for expansion projects.
• Preparation of management of change(MOC) as per company standard if any changes is needed in plant.
• Review and approve of leak sealing bolted clamp calculation.
• Review and approve quotation received from procurement department for piping component like valve, pipe and fitting.
• Preparing package for “LIKE FOR LIKE” to replace existing equipments and issue to mechanical department for order.
• Perform piping mechanical calculations like minimum wall thickness for internal and external pressure.
• Perform static pipe stress analysis using CAESAR-II,
• Perform WRC-107 and nozzle flex calculations.
• Assistance to maintenance department for spring support during shutdown and startup.
• Bolt torque calculation.

• As-Built project.
• Tank thickness calculation by one foot method asper API650.
• Tank Minimun thickness calculation by one foot method asper API653.
Piping design engineer (Brown field):
• 3D modeling, extracting piping deliverables (Like GAD, Isometric, Bill of material etc.) preparation of tie-in Index, tie-in drawing, demolition drawing, As built etc.
• Site visit for As-built and to verify existing drawing before starting any brown field project.
• Auto-Cad, CADWORX, Microstation.
Piping QC:
• Checking punch lists A, and B against RFI and walkthrough with the client for hydro-test, preparing As-built drawing.
Piping Engineer (Construction):
• Plan the schedule of piping work.
• Marking weld joint number based on available pipe length.
• Issuing drawings to piping and structure crew (like P&ID, isometric, piping plan, support drawings, structure drawings, and equipment drawings) to carry out the piping activities.
• Supervising the activities like erection of spools at the pipe racks, alignment and fit up the field joints.
• Relocate the small bore lines as per field.
• Keeping record for every day work progress.
• Preparation of isometric for steam tracing tubes to prevent material deficiency at site.
