After successful testing, the applicant prepares and submits the required documents, including test reports, product specifications, factory details, quality-control information, manufacturing process details, and other supporting documents. Depending on the applicable certification scheme, BIS may conduct a factory assessment to verify manufacturing facilities, testing arrangements, quality-control procedures, and production capabilities.
If any non-conformities are identified, corrective actions and additional testing may be required. Once the applicable requirements are satisfactorily fulfilled, BIS can grant the licence, subject to applicable conditions and marking requirements.
