Hamad Al Alaiwi & Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. (HAPCO) is looking for an experienced Mechanical QC Engineer to join our team for our Makkah Project.
Position: Mechanical QC Engineer
📍 Location: Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor the project Quality Control Plan (QCP/ITP) for mechanical works.
Inspect mechanical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain inspection records.
Inspect mechanical materials and equipment upon delivery and during installation.
Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Review and ensure compliance with approved Method Statements, ITPs, and project specifications.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
Identify non-conformities and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Coordinate with the construction team, consultant, and client representatives during inspections.
Ensure mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical QA/QC.
Proven experience in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
Familiarity with ITPs, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Transferable Iqama / valid Saudi work status preferred.
Candidates with previous Makkah project experience will be considered an advantage.
