RRVPN Substation Package Contract Seeks Turnkey 400/220 KV EPC Bidder

RRVPN’s Substation Package contract opportunity covers a 500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation at Sawai Madhopur with two new 220 kV bays at Bhadoti. The Rs 125.9821 crore Substation Package contract requires complete engineering, equipment supply, civil construction, erection, testing, energisation and commissioning within 24 months. Transmission equipment tenders in India bidders must meet prescribed high-voltage experience requirements and coordinate qualified civil and electrical subcontractors. The Substation Package contract carries Rs 2.51965 crore EMD and 180-day bid validity. Transformer performance is commercially significant because excess losses attract specified monetary consequences and deviations beyond the prescribed ceiling can result in rejection. Bids more than 15% below estimate also trigger additional security. Four extensions have moved online submission from August 5 to October 8, 2026, while technical opening is scheduled for October 9.
