Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Vertex BD Detailer to join our modular building production team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical detailing skills and a solid understanding of light gauge steel / modular construction processes, from design intent through to production-ready output.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Vertex BD software
Strong understanding of the modular construction industry, including current trends and best practices
Ability to produce accurate, production-ready detailing packages (framing, connections, assemblies)
Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination with design/production teams
Must be an active, currently practicing detailer (not dormant/inactive in the field)
Good communication skills and ability to work within project deadlines
Preferred:
Experience with large-scale/mega modular projects
Familiarity with cold-formed steel and hot-rolled detailing (DFMA workflows)
