Desert Sides International Industrial Co. – Dammam, Saudi Arabia
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Electrical Engineer to join our Prefabricated Building Manufacturing Division.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in electrical works for prefabricated, modular, containerized or industrial buildings and should be able to manage electrical works from design to installation and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical drawings and layouts.
- Prepare electrical BOQ, material requirements and load schedules.
- Design and coordinate lighting, power distribution, DBs, cables, conduits and earthing systems.
- Coordinate electrical works with HVAC, plumbing, structural and production teams.
- Supervise electrical installation inside prefabricated buildings at the factory.
- Inspect and test electrical installations before dispatch.
- Support site installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Ensure electrical works meet project specifications and applicable Saudi standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, procurement, production and project teams.
- Identify and resolve electrical problems during manufacturing and site installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in prefabricated/modular buildings, construction, MEP or industrial projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of LV electrical systems, lighting, power, DBs, cables, earthing and protection systems.
- Ability to read and prepare electrical drawings.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work both in the factory and project sites.
- Candidates with Saudi project experience will be preferred.
