BHEL Nuclear Power Projects Seeks Air Handling Partner For Banswara EPC Bid

BHEL’s Nuclear power projects procurement asks air-handling vendors to price four 700 MWe units before BHEL’s underlying EPC award is secured. Under the Nuclear power projects structure, the successful vendor supports BHEL’s proposal, but the eventual purchase order can cover only the two-unit stage that BHEL wins. The Nuclear power projects terms exclude claims for lost opportunity or additional cost if one stage is omitted. Power EPC tenders India participants also face a project-price pass-through mechanism under which specified reductions negotiated by BHEL can flow into the agreed vendor price. Supply and mandatory spares receive index-linked price adjustment, but positive adjustment is capped at 30% while negative adjustment has no stated limit. Payment for supplied material depends on the end customer’s receipt certification. The successful vendor also faces performance and longer-term latent-defect security requirements. Nuclear power projects bids close October 3, 2026. EnergylineIndia.com tracks subsequent vendor selection and BHEL’s EPC outcome.
