LLDPE in Ahmedabad remained unchanged at Rs 142.00/kg this week, maintaining the same level seen over the latest fortnight. Indian LLDPE prices are showing short-term stability after gaining Rs 3.00/kg over the past month. The current assessment therefore reflects consolidation following the gradual upward movement recorded in recent weeks rather than a continuation of immediate price volatility.
One month ago, LLDPE was valued at Rs 139.00/kg, while three months earlier the market stood at Rs 134.00/kg. The present level is consequently Rs 8.00/kg higher on the three-month comparison. Against the six-month benchmark of Rs 148.00/kg, however, prices remain lower by Rs 6.00/kg. A recent peak of Rs 164.00/kg was also recorded earlier in the year, placing the current assessment below that higher trading marker.
Indian LLDPE prices remain sharply stronger on a year-on-year basis, with the latest Rs 142.00/kg assessment standing Rs 47.00/kg above the Rs 95.00/kg level recorded a year earlier. LLDPE prices in India currently have support around Rs 134.00/kg and resistance near Rs 148.00/kg. The current price is positioned between those reference points, giving procurement teams a defined framework for comparing supplier offers and spot-market indications. Weekly stability, monthly gains and the six-month discount collectively describe the present market structure without indicating a fresh directional break.
