Role Description The Chef De Partie is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing a specific kitchen section, preparing and cooking menu items to company standards, and ensuring dishes are presented consistently and on time. Day-to-day tasks include organizing mise en place, supervising junior kitchen team members, maintaining high food quality and safety standards, and coordinating with other sections to ensure smooth service during events and daily operations. The Chef De Partie will also assist in menu development, implement portion and waste control, and support stock management, ordering, and inventory checks. Collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to uphold our Catering’s culinary vision is central to this position.
Qualifications
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating within a professional kitchen environment.
Experience managing a designated kitchen section, including mise en place, workflow organization, and service coordination.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP or similar compliance practices.
Ability to train, guide, and support junior kitchen staff while contributing to a respectful and collaborative team culture.
Experience working in catering, banqueting, hotel, or high-volume restaurant operations is highly beneficial.
Relevant culinary education, professional culinary certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure during peak service times.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules as required.
Basic communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
