Mechanical Engineer with 7 years of experience in MEP, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Utility projects in Saudi Arabia, including Saudi Aramco and Marafiq project experience.
Core Responsibilities & Experience:
• Supervision and execution of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Mechanical works as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Installation and supervision of AHU, FCU, ventilation systems, ducting, chilled water piping, pumps and associated HVAC equipment.
• Supervision of fire water piping, hydrant, sprinkler and fire protection systems.
• Execution and inspection of domestic water, drainage, sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Supervision of mechanical and utility piping works, including routing, supports, fabrication, installation and testing.
• Review of IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, TDS, MTOs and project documents before execution.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical and other MEP disciplines to resolve site installation and interface issues.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, Aramco representatives and subcontractors for inspections, approvals and work progress.
• Prepare and follow up RFI, MIR, inspection requests, punch lists and handover documentation.
• Monitor work progress, manpower deployment, material availability and daily site activities.
• Conduct material inspection and verify materials against approved MIR, TDS and project specifications.
• Supervise testing, flushing, pressure testing, hydro testing, commissioning and functional testing of mechanical systems.
• Ensure installation complies with SAES, Aramco standards, approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for ITP inspections, WIR/MIR, testing records and quality documentation.
• Identify site issues, coordinate corrective actions and ensure punch-list/snags are closed within the required timeline.
• Prepare and review as-built drawings and handover documents.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractor manpower and ensure proper allocation of resources.
• Support operation & maintenance activities, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical/MEP systems.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain schedule, quality, safety and productivity.
