We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with strong technical knowledge of 21K gold jewellery manufacturing, including handwork, casting, finishing, and complete factory production processes.
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the production team, controlling quality, reducing gold loss, meeting production targets, and ensuring orders are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the complete 21K gold jewellery production process from design/sample to finished product.
* Supervise casting, handwork, soldering, assembly, filing, polishing, finishing, and quality control.
* Plan daily and weekly production according to orders and delivery deadlines.
* Allocate work to goldsmiths, casting staff, polishers, and other production employees.
* Monitor production output, productivity, and workmanship.
* Maintain strict control over gold weight, recovery, scrap, dust, wastage, and production loss.
* Ensure finished jewellery meets required 21K purity, weight, dimensions, design, and quality standards.
* Identify production problems and casting defects and provide technical solutions.
* Train and develop jewellery production workers.
* Coordinate with the design, sales, inventory, purchasing, and management teams.
* Maintain accurate production records for gold issued, work in progress, finished goods, scrap, and returns.
* Improve production methods to increase efficiency while maintaining jewellery quality.
* Ensure machinery, casting equipment, tools, and workshop areas are properly maintained.
* Maintain workplace safety, discipline, cleanliness, and security.
Requirements
* Strong experience in 21K gold jewellery manufacturing.
* Excellent knowledge of both handmade jewellery production and casting.
* Previous experience managing a jewellery factory or production department.
* Strong understanding of gold loss control, recovery, and inventory accountability.
* Ability to manage goldsmiths and other skilled production workers.
* Strong knowledge of quality control and jewellery finishing standards.
* Ability to plan production and meet deadlines.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
Preferred Experience: 7–10+ years in gold jewellery manufacturing, including supervisory or production-management experience.
Experience with Gulf/Arabic 21K jewellery manufacturing is highly preferred.
