Site Engineer (Mechanical)

Mechanical Site Engineer with 6 years of experience in mechanical construction, installation, testing, inspection, and commissioning activities. Experienced in supervising site works, coordinating with consultants and contractors, reviewing approved drawings, and ensuring work is completed as per project specifications, approved procedures, ITPs, and safety standards. Skilled in preparing WIR/MIR, conducting inspections, monitoring site progress, and resolving technical issues to achieve project requirements and timely completion.

-Assist Senior Mechanical Engineers in site supervision and execution of mechanical works.
-Study and understand approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
-Monitor mechanical installation activities as per approved drawings and project requirements.
-Assist in material receiving and inspection of pipes, fittings, valves, equipment, and accessories.
-Check installation for alignment, level, dimensions, supports, and workmanship.
-Assist in preparing WIR/IR (Work Inspection Request) and coordinating inspections with consultants.
-Assist in MIR (Material Inspection Request) preparation and material verification.
-Coordinate with QA/QC, consultants, subcontractors, and other site teams.
-Monitor daily site progress and report work status to the Senior Engineer.
-Ensure work is carried out according to approved procedures, ITPs, drawings, and safety requirements.
-Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for proper resolution.
-Maintain basic site records, inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.
-Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with HSE requirements at the work area.
